Let me introduce you to my new writing venture. This is a reflexive writing exercise, or at least I think that's what it's called.
Five Minute Flap is where I write for five minutes about some image I ran across and saved for later. Believe me, I have a lot of material in my Maybe folder.
Flaps will range from spewing venom to slamming satire to adulating affection.
In order to keep this writing quick and "reflexive," I will spend no more than two minutes looking for an image. If none sticks out over the others, I'll choose the one that first stood out to me. Then I set the timer for five minutes and write, write, write.
